<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">that occurred from 2020 to the present day, especially in the toughest months of the global health emergency caused by the <\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>Covid pandemic<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">. For Dr. Garc\u00eda Rojas, there were &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>three important <\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">initial <\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>errors of perception<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">: <\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>considering Covid as a flu out <\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">of a desire to underestimate a major health problem; the <\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>debate on masks<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">; and, finally, <\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>believing that it was a seasonal virus<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">&#8220;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #212529;\">In the opinion of Am\u00f3s Garc\u00eda Rojas, the context of &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>global warming, the change in the ecological niche, poverty, the relationship between humans and animals are key factors in the triggering of pandemics<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">, which we will suffer again in the future&#8221;. We must be prepared for that moment and for the Canary Islands epidemiologist it will be essential that we have &#8220;a <\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>solid, robust and firm health system<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">. A <\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\"><b>strengthened primary health care <\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #212529;\">that will allow us to better monitor and control the pandemic&#8221;.
